In the effort to help keep our staff and patrons safe; we are limiting the number of museum patrons allowed in the museum in order to help everyone keep a 6-foot distance.
- Two (2) groups will be allowed in the museum at a time with the maximum size of each group being seven (7) individuals and limiting the age of visitors to 6yrs and up.
- A group's visit will be limited to one (1) hour; so that we may accommodate all of our patrons.
- At this time, we discourage “playdates” or meetups with people you are not regularly in contact with.
- All museum visitors MUST wear a mask at all times while in the museum.
The museum is divided into three (3) zones, allowing each group of visitors safe interaction with the museum exhibits. Once your group leaves a zone, you will not be able to return to that zone, so the movement through the museum will be more directed than previous visits. Each section will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each use.
We have a parking lot at the rear of 763 Westminster. The entrance to our parking lot is on Dean St, right around the corner from our building. Coming from I-95, turn right at the corner of Dean St. and Westminster St, which has a Subway restaurant. The entrance to the parking lot will be the first left turn, the 3rd curb cut on the left. Drive through until you are behind a red brick building with green doors. You may park in spots designated for RIMOSA or any open space. Entrance to the Museum is at the front, on Westminster.
There is also street parking available at all times on Westminster. On weekends, you may park for free in the School Department Lot behind RIMOSA, accessible from Washington Street. When school is not in session, you may also park in the Classical High School parking lot across the street from RIMOSA.
