Meeting 1 on outreaches
I had a good meeting with Dr. Mary Rapien (biologist with a strong interest in outreach and education) and Kathleen Shanks Rehder (6 years running a chemistry/physical science outreach program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison). We have decades of experience in outreaches among us, have the scientific, educational and administrative ability and are excited to get started.
However – We need to develop the curriculum, and are looking to get more artists involved with curriculum development and/or outreach process. We also realize that it is very important to be a 501-c-3 so we may handle payment appropriately.
Any lawyers who want to help out with this process will be most welcome!!
