RIMOSA is a nascent museum – come grow with us!

The Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art was founded in 2009 and became a federally recognized 501-c-3 organization in 2010.  Our hands-on, interactive art/science exhibits are currently “pop-ups” – that is, they are shown for short periods of time at venues throughout the state.  Past venues include the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage, AS220′s Foofest, Maker Faire and Waterfire.  We also offer outreach programs to schools, camps and other organizations.  We plan to bring our exhibits, programs and more under one roof as soon as we can locate (and afford!) an appropriate physical site.  Please join our mailing list to see where we will “pop-up” next…

Great idea–I’m looking forward to seeing an exhibit when I’m next in RI (I’m from the Hudson Valley, in NY). Would love to think about doing this in my region.
