The June Rockwell Levy Foundation has awarded RIMOSA a generous grant for our Slater Mill installation. June Rockwell Levy, along with her husband, Austin T. Levy, were Rhode Island philanthropists. Their interest in the arts, education, health and the rights and well-being of the employees in their textile mills lead them to improve the lots of many during their lives.  The June Rockwell Levy Foundation allows their interest in people to continue “in perpetuity”. We hope that RIMOSA’s work in art/science education will be a fitting tribute to their memory.

The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) is a wonderful organization charged by the state legislator to  “stimulate public interest and participation in the arts…” We believe that RISCA and organizations like it are the reason Rhode Island has such a vibrant arts community and is such a fun and funky place to live.  RISCA’s vote of confidence in RIMOSA’s mission is greatly appreciated.
