The Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art merges art and science creating innovative, interactive exhibits and programs that awaken curiosity, encourage experimentation, and improve understanding of the world around us.
Our Audience
Although our focus is towards older children–too old for children's museums, but too young to have lost the desire to tinker, experiment and create–our open-ended, hands-on exhibits are engaging, fascinating, and fun for all ages!
Our Location
At present, RIMOSA is a "museum without walls". We borrow the locations of others to temporarily host our exhibits and conduct our programs. Check here regularly to see when and where our "pop-ups" are now. We also conduct outreach programs for schools and other organizations. Please click here to learn more about our progress.
